Ear Training
Ear Training is a great way to supplement any instrument or vocal instruction. Using the universal Sol Fa method used in colleges and universities all over the world, ear training augments the ability to hear music's inner workings. This allows you to play by ear, write music that you hear in your head, and sight read musical compositions.
Starting with the simple major scale (Do Re Me Fa So La Ti Do) we study all the intervals and apply the lessons to hearing chords and progressions. Students will be able to hear and sing major and minor chords, different scales, melodies and much more. This is a real-deal method that would prepare anyone interested in taking music in college or for anyone that wants to be able to play by ear. This method will also allow you to hear music written on the page.
